Asked once for the whole shop — every station shares these answers. They seed defaults; nothing is ever locked, and any single preference can be flipped later. Edit any time from the ? menu. Who answered is recorded once operator accounts arrive.
Quoting, tooling, nesting and posting read your shop's machine and material tables — cut conditions, offsets, gaps, lead lengths per material × thickness. Where a table doesn't cover a job yet, that stage says so and points back here. Defining machines and materials on this screen is a coming build — today the tables load from your shop's workbook, and missing quote rates are fillable right on the Quote drawer. Geometry work (heal, manual edits, clean-DXF delivery) needs no tables at all.
Drag the marker to the preferred side — it snaps to corners, mid-points and quarter-points (quadrants and 45s on circles). A bias on the shape, never a fixed spot: safety still moves it when a spot is unsafe, and it reports the move. A dragged start on any single feature always outranks this.
This feature carries your own start override — it outranks the class default, so the default saved here will not move THIS feature until its override is cleared (right-click the feature to clear it).
The next plan or post uses it — re-plan on the Tooling tab to see it applied. Shop-wide defaults live in Shop setup (? menu).
The lead-in the toolpath planner starts from, per feature class. Each field saves on its own — saving one never touches a scope's other fields, and each carries who set it. A typed per-feature override always outranks these; clear-air still judges at the table value and warns, never blocks.
Lead-in length takes effect on the next plan or post. Shape, angle and lead-out are recorded now and start cutting when their emitters land — recorded on the job, never silently dropped.
What each color means — and yours to change: pick any swatch. Color never stands alone here: status dots carry a glyph too (✓ done, ! flagged, ✕ blocked), so no meaning rides on color only.
Saved per station (this browser), like theme and units — per-operator colors arrive with operator accounts.
Sends the canvas as an image plus the app state (job, tab, stage statuses, units, viewport). The fuller auto-capture list gets specified together later; reports flow to the partners' existing bug server once its details arrive — until then they are kept on this server.
The drop starts as ONE group — one part list, files carrying several parts split into part rows automatically. Click a chip's × to give that file its own job, or Separate all; drag one card onto another to stack them back into a group.
Each copy records its own edit — removable per row in the Heal / QC panel. Mirrored copies count as identical.
Only the suspect files are listed; everything else proceeded as read (the part list's in/mm toggle stays the quick fix). A flipped file re-heals at the stated scale — a kit's listed parts rescale as a set.
These files draw solid ink in several colors over the same region — likely overlaid drawing views, or annotation drawn in its own color. Every color cuts unless you untick it; unticked colors move to the annotation layer (display only — nothing is deleted, and you can change the pick on the Intake drawer any time).
